Property Data was established by Mark Pickering in 1991. The company initially published data on commercial property investors, developers and housebuilders. In 2000 an online commercial investment transactions database was launched in partnership with Chris Bullock
Property Data's investment service became the acknowledged market leader in deal capture and over a twenty-year period recorded 60,000 UK commercial investment transactions with a value of £1 Trillion.
In October 2021 MSCI Real Assets acquired the Property Data investment transaction data set.
Property Data continues to publish market leading data on UK Real Estate including a new proprietary Living asset and development database covering BTR and PBSA, the fastest growing property sectors
Property Data are members of the Society of Property Researchers and the Investment Property Forum.
